Job Description
We are hiring a Relationship Manager Export Trade Finance (RMETF) within Attijariwafa bank Europe (AWBE), based in Paris La Défense.
Attijariwafa bank Europe is part of the leading banking group in Africa (excluding South African banks), operating across corporate banking, retail banking, and specialized financial services with more than 23,000 employees in 23 countries.
This role focuses on developing export trade finance activities for a portfolio of trading companies active in:
- Oil & Gas
- Soft Commodities
- Clinker
The export trade finance activity is dedicated to Financial Institution (FI) risk on African banks.
Key missions and activities
Develop and manage export trade finance business opportunities
Provide expertise on trade finance products:
- Letters of Credit (LCs)
- Avalized drafts
- Bonds
- Bank guarantees
- Receivables financing
Analyze transaction feasibility considering:
- Risk
- Compliance
- Legal
- Operational constraints
- Process operations and monitor end-to-end execution
- Ensure timely communication and responsiveness to clients
- Maintain up-to-date KYC documentation for all portfolio clients
Skills
- Master’s degree in Finance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in:
- Trade Finance Relationship Management
- or Middle Office Trade Finance with strong sell-side interest
- Strong expertise in:
- Export finance
- International trade solutions
- Risk mitigation structures
- Solid knowledge of:
- Shipping and Incoterms
- Financial analysis
- Trade finance products:

- Bills of Exchange
- Bonds
- IRUs
- Guarantees
