Attijariwafa bank Foundation

Founded over 40 years ago, the Attijariwafa bank Foundation promotes education and entrepreneurship, the arts and culture, and debate around ideas and intellectual matters, it also provides support for a number of associations.

The Foundation is involved in several areas in which it has developed recognized know-how through the roll-out of a number of structural and innovative projects.

Among its missions, it helps to improve the education of Moroccan citizens, in particular for the most modest social classes, and acts to prevent academic failure and dropping out. It also encourages the pursuit of higher education by promoting excellence and works to create equal opportunities.

Supporting entrepreneurship is also a strategic goal of the Attijariwafa bank Foundation, in the wake of the AI Mada group, and it aims to stimulate the spirit of entrepreneurship among young people and to develop their potential.

Through the Group’s art collection and a permanent artistic program, the Attijariwafa bank Foundation aims to democratise access to art and culture, two key vectors for the development of Morocco, the fulfilment of citizens and social cohesion.

It has also developed an exchange platform which is accessible to all citizens (economic operators, civil society, young students and associative actors) to discuss current economic, social and societal issues.

Lastly, the Foundation supports the publishing and promotion of knowledge through the production of its own publications and the organisation of literary meetings.
